American Quarter Horse
The Quarter Horse is a staple of the old west. These horses are named for being the fastest horse in a quarter mile sprint. They are often used as cow horses, western horses, barrel horses, and trail horses. But that does not mean that they won’t compete and do well in other sports as well. There have been many Quarter horses that do well in English classes, dressage, jumping, and even polo.

American Miniature Horse
One of the biggest misconceptions about miniature horses are that they are “Ponies”. But they are not. A miniature horse is just that, a horse that is very small but has the same proportions as a full sized horse. Ponies usually have a bigger body, shorter legs and a little bit larger head. Mini horses come in all the same colors as full sized horses and ponies.
We are very fortunate to have 2 miniature horses on our farm.
